Hey Y'all!
It is time again for Gatlinburg Brewing Company's annual BJCP-judged homebrew competition.
This will take place at our Sevierville brewpub on September 6, 2023 @ 7pm and I would like to see how many judges we can get to help us out.
Like last year, we will score according to 21' BJCP Guidelines and use score sheets. I am going to register our competition with BJCP so the judges can get credit.
This year we are limiting entrants to 2 entries to keep the number of total entries down and we are going to put a cap on entries around 20 entries.
Also, if anyone has any suggestions on how we can change things to make it better than last year, please reach out to me and we can see those changes this year.
I think we can also start the judging earlier this year and judge fewer samples so that it is less of a burden on everyone.
I know that some of the judges may be entering some beers into the competition so we should be able to work around that with enough judges.
