Hops, hops, and more hops, that’s the American (IPA) dream! The HIB IX is a American IPA style with a main focus on late addition hops, including whirlpool and dry hopping. The main goal of this HIB is to identify the distinct flavors and aromas associated with specific hop strains. Therefore, there are three different recipes with the same grain bill, yeast, and bittering hops. The variation occurs with the late hop additions, in which Brewers will be using Mt. Hood, cascade, or citra hops.
