Stuart Gorman, Head Brewer at Gatlinburg Brewing Company and TVH member, has invited us to a brew day at their Sevierville brewery.
They will be brewing the “Don't Feed The Bears” an American Brown Ale which was a 2024 GABF Gold Medalist.
They have stopped brewing on the 10bbl system that we did the 2022 TVH collab beer on, and are now brewing on a 15bbl system in the warehouse next door.
The brew day will be Tuesday June 17th starting at 8am and ending around 4pm.
Anyone can stay as short or as long as they like. Restaurant opens at noon and they have plenty of pizza, wings, salads and beer to enjoy!

We need to get a quick headcount so Stuart can better plan to accommodate us.

GBC'S 4TH ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE HOMEBREW COMPETITION
It's once again time for our People's Choice Homebrew Competition and for someone new to be awarded the Championship Belt! Based on your feedback from the last few years, and in an effort to get our community more involved, we're switching things up this year! Details Below 👇
Instead of inviting hand-selected local judges like we have in the past, we'll be hosting a festival-like tasting event open to the public (ticketed). You will get to pour/serve your own beer to attendees and each paid attendant will get to vote for their favorite homebrew! This setup should offer a more true people's choice style experience for the homebrewers, and give your friends, family and the public a chance to get involved and taste some of your great brews!
- When: Saturday May 17, 2025
- Time: 12pm to 3pm
- Location: Gatlinburg Brewing Company - Sevierville (We'll either be in the parking lot, on the patio or in the new facility).
- Homebrewer Entry Fee: Free!
- Details: Each homebrewer may enter up to two beers. Beers can be kegged and poured from Jockey Boxes, or poured from bottles. The format is totally up to you. If you do not have a jockey box, but wish to serve from a keg, we can arrange jockey box space for you. Your beer can be dropped off at GBC Sevierville anytime before the event for storage in the cooler, or you can bring it with you on the day of the event. We have a couple of ice bins that we can loan out, but these will be first come, first serve based on who needs them. We also have a couple of tables that we can loan out, but will again, be on a first come, first serve basis. Ice will be provided. Feel free to bring any table cloths, signage, tents, etc to show off your brand. Guests will purchase tickets to attend -- each attendee will receive a souvenir glass and unlimited 2-4oz samples of the homebrew offerings,
- Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top three beers/brewers. The championship belt will be passed on to the first place winner.
